Have you ever wondered if life is just a random set of circumstances? There are many books, arguments, and studies on how the universe works. So we won't enter a complete dissertation on that! Some subscribe to the universe as a contributor to human opportunities and life-path while others place their faith in the creator as sovereign over his creation. The spectrum is vast, so we won't enter that debate here! As a follower of Christ, I rest in the fact that, even in light of my free will, God's hand is at work in my life's circumstances. (Ephesians 2: 9-10) LIFE IS NOT RANDOM!

As one of the most advanced created beings, humans can sure know how to over complicate things! I can bet that trees live a pretty enjoyable life because they don't try to control their growth or compare themselves to other trees. They just flourish! I hope that through the message this week, you take hold of the peace that comes from relinquishing control and resting in the fact that God has a perfect plan for your life!
