Welcome to part one of my Werk Pray Slay 2017 Recap!
I really wish I could truly encapsulate all that I learned during this weekend into words, but I'll try! This weekend was not just a time to dress fabulous, it was a beautiful conglomerate of women living life on purpose! The events kicked off with an elegant VIP HeadShot Happy Hour at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis in the penthouse suite! Immediately following, the Hostess with the 'mostest', Lakia Bradenburg welcomed the crowd to a well planned night of pampering with Queen of Massage Atl and Complexions Skin Care. We had a complete blast!
On Saturday, the day kicked off with the Be your own boss conference, where attendees were able to select there own line up of 'werkshops'. One of their options was How to live a life worth following with your's truly. It was a day full of rich information on how to get your life, business, and mind together to increase the richness of your life! The full message video will be a part of the Part II Recap!
The Conference ended with multiple opportunities to Slay Slay Slay! We saluted amazing women trailblazing in their fields during the Awards Soiree and gleaned from happy wives during the big hat brunch! At that time, Monique Rodrequez of Mielle Organics was awarded the Claire Huxtable award for her amazing navigation of being an all-star wife, mom, and boss! The day ended with plenty of laughter, hugs, and celebration of renewed purpose & passion!
